More than any other top group, the Beatles' success was very much a case of the whole being greater than the sum of its parts. Their phenomenal cohesion was due in large degree to most of the group having known each other and played together in Liverpool for about five years before they began to have hit records. Guitarist and teenage rebel John Lennon got hooked on rock & roll in the mid-'50s, and formed a band, the Quarrymen, at his high school. Around mid-1957, the Quarrymen were joined by another guitarist, Paul McCartney, nearly two years Lennon's junior. A bit later they were joined by another guitarist, George Harrison, a friend of McCartney. The Quarrymen would change lineups constantly in the late '50s, eventually reducing to the core trio of guitarists, who'd proven themselves to be the best musicians and most personally compatible individuals within the band.
First, fairy cakes – then welding, kids
Since it came to power, the Labour government has introduced 2,685 pieces of legislation every year. And each has been either ill-conceived, draconian, bonkers, bitter, dangerous, counter-productive, childish, wrong, thoughtless, selfish, or designed primarily to make life a bit more miserable for everyone except six people in the BBC, 14 on The Guardian and Al Gore. Still, with such a torrent of new rules and regulations pouring onto the statute books every day, it was statistically inevitable that one day they’d accidentally do something sensible. And last week that day arrived. They decided that everyone who’s capable of reaching the takeaway shop without being shot in the face is eating far too much Trex and that the way to get them eating fair-trade lettuce and organic tofu instead is to make cooking a part of the school curriculum for children aged 11-14.

If your goal is to stay in shape even if you eat on the run, it can be a real challenge. A Consumer Reports' food quiz finds what looks like a healthier choice may not be. For instance, which would you say has more fat and calories: three Big Macs or Uno's deep-dish individual mushroom pizza? If you said the Big Macs you were wrong! Uno's website shows the deep-dish individual ‘shroom pizza has 2,070 calories and 159 grams of fat, versus three Big Macs that total 1,620 calories and 87 grams of fat. “People need to pay attention to serving size," said Maxine Siegel of Consumer Reports. “On Uno's web site, the information says that an individual pizza is actually three servings." Next: Wendy's large chili vs.

If there are a lot of kids I hear more talking before, during, and after the movie. So to address your question...I don't know if there is a right or wrong to when to talk at the movies. I guess if you're not annoying a lot of people around you and it is only one person(who maybe had a bad day or something) then quieting down when the movie starts seems okay with me. Karen (in Phillips,WI) J.T.Hey Jeff if movie matters where a factor I have ask you when was the last time you've been to a movie theater because things have changed to the point where they do ask you to turn off your cell phone before the movie starts if yours went off but I think that guy in front of you that turned his head toward you and said what he said should have minded his own buisness lol! Jan.30th,2008 Actually, when the lights go out and the movie begins..."whisper" is good manners.
